Joining the DCC

The Derwent Canoe Club is affiliated with Canoe Tasmania and Australian Canoeing.  New members can join and current members can renew through the Australian Canoeing online membership system.  Be sure to click on Canoe Tasmania and then select Derwent Canoe Club from the list to ensure you get all the local benefits of DCC membership.

Existing Members Renewal Process

If you have been a member before, login to Sporting DNA and use the Renew Membership button on the right hand side menu.

If you are unable to retrieve your login details please contact us at derwent@canoe.org.au, if the matter is urgent then contact your state body or Australian Canoeing.

If you store a boat at the DSS then please take the time to complete the type of boat you have and allocated boat storage location number.

Sporting DNA

All members will have a login to Sporting DNA where you can manage our own profile.

  • Australian Canoeing affiliation – required to entry National and International competitions.

 

  • Training provided through the Paddle Power program for beginners, through to training for elite level athletes.
